Abstract Beatrice Greenberg Tober was born July 21, 1911 and married Jack Tober. She received a placque and a letter of thanks from the National Jewish Welfare Board for donations to couples of the armed forces on their wedding day. She was a civic worker and was Community Chest co-chair for many years in Colorado Springs. Tobin's Pharmacy Digitized Collection

Abstract

Tobin's was founded in 1936 by Lou Tobin and run as an independent drug store by the family until 2005. In 1969, Howard Zeppelin purchased Tobin's Drug Store from his father-in-law. Digital collection of photographs of store and family, clippings, images of medicine bottles, and a prescription notebook from Tobin's Pharmacy, later Tobin's Drugs and Liquors.

In 1914, she met Paul Katzenstein, but before they could be married World War I began, and Paul was taken into the German army. He served four years in the army and came home severely wounded. Abstract A group of Jewsish friends, who had grown up on Denver's Jewish West Side neighborhood, organized a pinic. The Denver West Side Reunion Picnic was held on July 15, 1979. High school classes of 1955 through 1958 were invited. Roberta Greengard, chair of the Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society, prepared questionnaires.
